First off, we can congratulate Liberty University for being the Group of 5 representative. See you in Arizona for the slough-off.

Congratulations, CFP. Since you won't have the balls to DQ Michigan for any of about a hundred reasons (this B10 title and probably last year's too are coming back).

Your 5 P5 champions are Michigan, Texas, Washington, Florida State, and Alabama.

If you go with what I've said for many years, the SEC is out. You would have:

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Florida State
4. Texas

Bama and Ohio State would play in the Orange at that point.

But we all know the reality of The Playoff and it's purposes. Does anyone believe, for the life of them, that Florida State should be ranked ahead of Alabama? Ohio State?? Georgia??? Oregon????

If the Committee had the balls to toss Michigan and keep Florida State out, you'd have Washington, Texas, Bama, Georgia in that order -- and that probably would satisfy most people. (And also probably kill the ACC as a football conference once and for all.)

But nice job. You now have three for one here, and those three all are probably easily seen as beating one of the three remaining undefeateds.

Can we? Just noticed that SMU passed Liberty in AP ranking.

Orange has to go to ACC. Louisville gets the spot unless Florida State falls out of the Top 4.

Well, now it does. When we thought FSU was making the playoffs over Alabama, it was going to be Louisville vs. Alabama.

Florida State was Top Four in both the AP and Coaches.

And Liberty gets the nod.
